Where do scientific breakthroughs come from? “The Hutch,” as it’s known by locals in Seattle, has produced three Nobel prizes, pioneered immunotherapy, and saved countless lives from cancer and other diseases. Dr. Sylvia Lee is a doctor and scientist, as comfortable leading a team in high-stakes research trials as she is explaining side effects of treatments to her patients. Through this film, we get a privileged view of Dr. Lee as she moves through her world and connects the dots between next-generation cancer research and patient care.
